DANA is delighted to be able to offer a truly unique five-day Forest Industry Tour of several forest, wood processing and wood importing and expecting port facilities on Kyushu and Honshu Islands.
The tour commences in Tokyo on Monday morning 21 October, and finishes also in Tokyo on Friday afternoon 25 October.
DANA has for several years hosted very successful “China Tours”. However because of the 2019 Rugby World Cup being held in Japan during October and early November, we are this year offering a Japan tour instead. This is our first, and it will be unique.
We are very fortunate to have to full support of the Japan Lumber Journal (Editor Ms. Miyoko Kitagawa) and Dr Endo, a well-known Forest Industry identity on Kyushu Island
For those “on tour” this event fits perfectly between the weekends of the Quarter-Finals and the Semi-finals.
All details of the programme can be seen on the “programme” tab, together with a all costs and registration details
While this is a totally separate tour to any world cup tours, DANA may still have a very few package tickets to a 2 ½ day RWC tour. Details can be seen on the “Rugby World Cup” tab.
As with all the more than 60 DANA and DANA-related field trips and industry Tours undertaken over the last 20 years, DANA tour seats are very limited as set by visit host limits -- and coupled this year in Japan with the very busy World Cup for hotel accommodation, flights and transport facilities.
With this in mind we strongly recommend you make reservations as soon as possible.
