Gerd Ebner has been analysing the European timber industry since 1996.

Since 2001 he has been head of the “timber group” at Österreichischer Agrarverlag, and is thus responsible for four B2B media. With twelve journalists, his team is the largest in European sector journalism.

Most market reports and industry insights are researched by Gerd. In particular the analyses of the CLT/Massive Timber sector and all aspects around the damaged timber catastrophe in Central Europe recently found great interest. Ebner is therefore also a regular speaker at events - recently, understandably, mostly at webinars.
