Bob Flynn has spent more than 45 years in the forest products industry, including 10 years as a forester and 35+ years consulting on international trade of woodchips, logs and other forest products, timber supply and demand issues and global timberland investment.

He was co-author (with Dennis Neilson and later Gavin Hao) of the “bible” of the woodchip trade, the International Pulpwood Trade Review, from 1994-2019. He was also co-founder along with Dennis Neilson and Peter Lyford-Pike, of the International Woodchip Conference, which began in Uruguay in 2005.

Bob retired as Director, International Timber, for Fastmarkets RISI in October 2019, and continues to work on selected projects for various clients.
