Mr. Romero is a forester with more than 30 years’ experience; he has worked with Forest Industry, Academia, and for Institutional Investors. He co-founded a company to manage forestry investment in Latin America and to establish and operate timber plantations. He currently manages a Teak project in Nicaragua and consults for several timber and carbon credit projects in Colombia. Mr. Romero has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Forestry from North Carolina State University.
