Daniel is a Forestry Engineer with a Master Degree in Forest Management by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He has been involved in this sector since 2012, where he specialized in the international market of pulpwood, panel and biomass, as well as in the Iberian market of industrial wood. He has been an auditor in the control of biomass volumes and stock in biomass power plants, and in international litigations. Former member (spokesperson) of the normalization committee 164 of solid biofuels of AENOR (Spanish normalization committees). From 2014 to 2020 he executed and led the `BIOMASS MARKET MONITORING PROJECT` for IDAE (Spanish National Energy Agency) which established the national biomass prices in Spain on a quarterly basis.

Today he is the Manager Director of the TRADING department of products derived from forestry activity in Generandi. Being the exclusive agent of the Japanese company SUMITOMO Corp. for the export of agroforestry based feedstock into Europe that are sold to different industries.
