Pedro Aramendia is the Managing Partner of Forestal Atlantico Sur, a Uruguayan firm focused on pulpwood and chip sales since 2006. He has been actively involved in the plantation and management of about 40,000 hectares of eucalyptus forests, the construction of its chip mill, the sale of the assets for 3 investment funds, and the export of woodchips to Scandinavia, Africa, China and the Iberian Peninsula.
