DANA is pleased to be able to offer its latest industry tour in 2020.  This one is of special relevance to a lot of people in the European and international forest, log, sawn timber, wood panel and woodchips paper and biomass trade - a seminar and then a tour of Damaged dead Spruce Forests.

The major topic of many Conferences, and of course amongst players in the trade in 2019-2020 has been and will be: How extensive is this damage.  What impacts of already damaged trees on Europe and global trade? What will happen in 2020/21?  Is this damage a `one off in 2018 &2019`? Or will it be further extended in 2020 and beyond.

The tour will start with a 1 day seminar in Hamburg to bring delegates up to date with the extent of the damage in several European countries (see programme tab), and then to visit damaged forests in Germany, to visit sites right across the supply chain from trees to logs ready for export, and including visits to domestic wood processing mills in Germany and Denmark using spruce.
