Once again we are pleased to be able to offer another very informative and educational conference about the New Zealand Forest & Wood Products Sector at our 2020 Conference and Field Trip in Gisborne. This follows on from several previous DANA New Zealand Conferences, including a very successful Conference and Field Trip in and around Taupo in late- 2018.

Tuesday 01 September and Wednesday 02 September (AM)- Conference:  

Most of the topics and speakers have been confirmed including three international speakers. With the election due within weeks of the conference we expect some “politician sessions” will be of special relevance and interest.

Once again we have one panel with non-forestry industry speakers.  In 2020 we have already confirmed a talk by the CEO of one of the biggest cannabis growing companies in New Zealand, and the CEO of a major vegetable grower and distributor – and will likely attract a major grape growing/wine industry speaker to complete this always interesting panel.

Wednesday 02 September (PM) and Thursday 03 September - Optional Field Trip: 

This will commence immediately after the conference concludes at 12.30pm on Wednesday.  This gives us more opportunity to “spread out” visits over two days, and to include a variety of stops.  Once again we are very grateful to a number of field trip hosts who all go out of their way to make these DANA Field Trips such a success.  We will visit a wide range of sites, including forest- and wood processing mill- based; the major Eastland Port; and other highlights.
