Arabella is responsible for global Biomass Strategy at Drax Group and for the development of the fibre strategy that underpins global Biomass Energy with Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS) projects. She joined Drax in 2016 and was Head of Mergers & Acquisitions before moving into the Biomass Strategy role at the end of 2019. Prior to joining Drax in 2016, Arabella worked in the upstream oil & gas industry for 20 years, for BG Group, Shell and BP. She started her career as a petroleum engineer in the North Sea and US, and then spent 15 years at BG Group as a business analyst and M&A manager. Arabella is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with an M.Eng from Oxford.
