Mr. Jason Deng joined Suzano in early 2020, and currently serves as the Head of Business Development of Suzano Asia, based in Shanghai.
As a Senior Executive of Business Development, Mr. Deng is now leading the activities of strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and helping the company build new business frontiers in the region. In his first 2 years with Suzano, he also took the responsibilities of marketing intelligence of Suzano’s wood pulp business, driving the penetration and growth of the company’s pulp volume in Asia. Before joining Suzano, Mr. Deng worked for Saint-Gobain Group, a French based global company who is also known as the largest building materials supplier worldwide. By leading the Asia – Pacific Strategy and Business Development team of Saint-Gobain, Mr. Deng explored for the company concrete growth opportunities, initiated and completed successful investments and M&A transactions which effectively broaden the company’s landscape in the region. Prior to that, Mr. Deng worked for a global leading management consulting firm, helping both locals and MNCs in the energy and material sectors with strategic transformation and business optimization. Mr. Deng graduated from the University of Manchester, UK, with a Master Degree of Business Administration.
