Mr. Fukunaga has been in woodchip trade industry for 30 years since joined Itochu Corporation. In addition to original working base Tokyo, stationed in Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Johannesburg and Hanoi for woodchip business, total 13 years. Itochu Corporation is one of largest and active Japanese trading, investing companies. Woodchip trade business is now handled by its 100% subsidiary, Itochu Pulp & Paper Corp (IPP). IPP is sourcing fiber from most of major woodchip supply countries and selling to Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan. IPP is also investing to plantation in New Zealand, Chile and Vietnam, woodchip processing and loading terminal in Australia, New Zealand.
